Here’s the Great News for those who have been lusting after an all-electric green convertible (Including me, by the way) and felt tired of waiting on the Tesla Roadster (the Tesla is much better looking, though) to arrive. The Amp ($25,000 top the cost of “the Sky”) is an all-electric green conversion of the Saturn Sky, a not-so-popular American auto. Sprinting from zero-to-60 time in 5.7 seconds and a top speed of 90 mph (We don’t need to ride faster, right?).
The Amp can run for 150 miles per charge, emitting ZERO (read “ZE-RO”) emissions and costing only and only “3 cents per mile” to drive. This is the most affordable eco-friendly drop-top I’ve seen, YET

I like everything but the price tag. what do you think about these guys http://www.theautomoto.com they have a vehicle that will go 180 miles on two gallons of gas all for under 4k. i wish more people got the point that these vehicles will only be practical if the price tag stays low so that everyone can actually afford one.
